Foreword

Fungal Genetics Newsletter #43B contains abstracts from the 3rd European Conference on Fungal Genetics, held at Munster Germany march 27-30, 1996. The 6th Edition of the FGSC Catalog comprises FGN 43A. In the main body of the Newsletter are the usual wide range of articles and bibliographic updates for Neurospora and Aspergillus nidulans. As always, suggestions regarding the Newsletter are welcome at any time and should be directed to the Newsletter Editor, the FGSC Director and/or to the Fungal Genetics Policy Committee.
