Also suppresses nonsense alleles of trp-1, trp-2, and ad-3B. ssu-7 shows the widest spectrum of the known supersuppressors (955). Allele Y319-37 of ssu-8, which is in IR, has erroneously been called ssu-7 in some FGSC lists and by Griffiths (408).
