cultural_requirements: I. Between mt (2 to 15%) and cr-1 (2%). Linked to arg-1(531).Perithecial development is blocked 15 h after fertilization, before meiosis, when fmf-1 is present either in the female or male parent. Perithecia attain only 40% normal diameter. Recessive in heterokaryons and can be crossed as one component of a heterokaryon, either as female or as male. Female fertility is also restored in mixed mating type (fmf-1 A + fmf+a) heterokaryons that are homokaryotic for tol(531). Called PBJ6 (527).
