chromosome_number: I

chromosome_side: R

link_group: IR

cultural_requirements: IR. Between cyh-1 (5%) and al-1 (7%) (PB). (1100) Perithecial development is blocked when the mb-2 mutant is used as the male parent to fertilize an mb+ female; many perithecia are produced, mostly small, brown, without beaks or ascospores; a few perithecia mature and produce ascospores (1100). Perithecia are normal and fully fertile when the mb-2 mutant is used as the female parent and fertilized by an mb+ strain (1128). Homozygous barren (PB).
