scr-1	IIR. Linked to arg-12 (2%); probably to the left (PB). (828) Semicolonial growth, few aerial hyphae, dichotomization of hyphal tips, reduced conidiation. Heat sensitive, growing poorly with no conidia at 39 C and more like the wild type at 25°C. Asci abnormal in homozygous scrx scrcrosses, with altered arrangement of ascospores. Occasional asci have fewer than eight ascospores, and these include large spores. Not all asci are nonlinear. Recessive. (827, 828)	IIR	B
