Mutant FK028 shows reduced growth and a reduced level of DNase A secretion in phosphate-free medium N + DNA + sucrose. Growth is normal, but ss-DNase activity is reduced overall in sorbose + DNA medium. MMS sensitivity is not increased.VIRB
