Lipoate acetyltransferase fails to aggregate to form the core of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. As a result, there is high activity of the free components pyruvate dehydrogenase and lipoamide reductase (769). Not the same as ac-4of reference 1034.	IVL	B
